Due to demand from clients and salons to develop a night cream, Guinot went further and investigated why we need a night cream. Due to stresses throughout the day our bodies release the cortisol hormone which has an ageing effect on our skin, amongst other things. The ingredient, Chrononight, derived from Green Algae, activates cellular metabolism which counter balances the effects of cortisol on the skin.

Esculoside, derived from the bark of horsechestnut tree boosts circulation in the skin.

Hydrocycte complex- this has a triple moisturizing action. It targets the dermis, epidermis and top of skin.
